An Innovative Approach To Supervision Training
Licensed Professional Counselor Interns and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
Associates in Texas need qualified and competent supervisors. Many Universities are training
people to practice the art of counseling and marriage/family therapy. When the interns/associates
begin their internship hours they are frequently faced with the fact that competent supervision is
difficult to find. You can add income to your practice as well as significantly impact the therapeutic
community by becoming an LPC or LMFT Supervisor.
A Unique Opportunity
New Directions Counseling Center in Richardson Texas offers a course, “Transformative
Supervision,” in a new and exciting format. Completing the course enables one to meet the
educational component for being an LPC and/or and LMFT recognized supervisor.
Your Instructors
Dr. Margaret Pinder and Dr. Ken Bateman instruct this course. Both Dr. Pinder and Dr. Bateman
have extensive experience supervising and teaching supervision courses. Both Dr. Bateman and
Dr. Pinder are full time professors and also maintain a Private Practice in Richardson and Dallas
respectively.
