Kenneth V. Bateman, Ed.D., earned the Doctor of Education degree and a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce, where he majored in Counseling.  His undergraduate degree was from Olivet Nazarene University where he majored in Philosophy. 

Dr. Bateman has worked for the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Services as a Family Therapist, and has served as an adjunct professor at Richland Community College and at Texas A&M University at Commerce, Texas.
 
Ken is a full time Professor of Counseling and Human Behavior and Development at Amberton University in Garland, Texas; a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor with a practice in Richardson, Texas; a trainer and speaker.   Dr. Bateman has presented recently at Nation’s Bank, Nokia, Ericcson, and AMR (American Airlines), Chase Manhattan Bank and other  companies.
Ken is married to Dianne Bateman, a fourth grade school teacher at Cooper Elementary School in Garland, Texas.  Ken has a daughter who lives in Euless, Texas.
 
Dr. Bateman is available to speak to your business, club, church or school. Presentations dealing with stress, family relations, encouragement and motivation are just some of the subjects he speaks on.  His presentations are spiced with humor, humanness, and insight.
